Requirements for Consideration

  •  A valid state insurance license, or the ability to get licensed is a requirement of this position. Some states issue temporary licenses allowing a quicker start. Other states require completion of a pre-licensing course and passing an exam prior to issuing a license.
  • A financial, criminal, and insurance company Vector Report screening is completed on every licensed agent.
  • Personal transportation is necessary for local travel to appointments.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and Saturday if necessary to see clients.
  • Residence inside a 25 mile radius of the funeral home service area. 
  • Professional appearance and communication skills.
Prior direct sales experience preferred, but not required.

We are looking for people today to represent our company and partner funeral homes. Most people considering a sales career usually don't think of working in the funeral industry. It requires hard work, but the large personal and financial rewards are worth the effort. You will assist client  families with vital planning and guidance that will eliminate the emotional and financial burden created by being unprepared for death. Unlike many sectors of the economy today, our markets, prospect base, and income opportunity continues to grow and offers unique career stability. You work with baby boomers and senior citizens. With every passing day, their numbers increase and more of them are seeing the financial benefit and need for end of life planning. A successful  preneed sales professional can expect annual earnings to average between $60,000 and $75,000 per year in an industry that's pretty much recession proof. Many representatives earn in excess of $100,000 annual incomes. If you are motivated, seek an unlimited income opportunity, trainable to learn a system, and can work in a relationship building sales environment, this opportunity may suit you well. This is a full time sales position and we do not consider applicants who are students, retirees, or seeking part time or supplemental income.
